Parcel opened its doors in June 2019 in the Nihonbashi Bakurocho district of Tokyo Japan. Using its distinct space, which is a former parking lot converted into a white cube, PARCEL aims to function as an existence somewhere in between a project space and a commercial gallery. With its focus on contemporary art, the gallery will create programs based on thorough observation of the “society” , “time” and “context” , intersecting with various cultures, and with artists from various regions.
